I bought your roll-neck about 25 years ago and wore it into the ground. I despaired that I wouldn’t find it—or, find greatly altered. Instead, you still make it, still made in New England, and if anything it is better—slightly tighter weave and neckline.
This sweater was exactly what I was looking for: a high quality, somewhat fitted, medium weight knit.
I’m 6’2”, 140 lbs and usually wear a 36” S or XS, depending on brand. XS was perfect here—fits well with a tiny bit of looseness. I want to get more now.
Note on color: I ordered “red & natural” and this sweater is *not* the red shown in the photos—it’s more of a dusty rose. Still a lovely color but if your heart is set on a true red, this is not it.
This quality made and beautiful striped throw exceeded my expectations! It keeps me warm and toasty on chilly evenings, and enhances my decor as a throw on my sofa. It evokes memories of growing up in Fall River, the former textile capital of the world and manufactured by a company founded in 1838. Now that’s a proud tradition!
